What to expect…?

Eyeglasses Exam

This is a comprehensive eye exam in which your doctor will assess your visual acuity (how well you see) and MORE! At the end of the exam, you will get a finalized glasses prescription. Your doctor will also test for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together, and evaluate the health of your eyes.

Contact Lens Exam

Comprehensive eyeglasses exam PLUS contact lens evaluation, this means you will get BOTH your glasses and contact lens prescription. Because each lenses and eyeballs are made differently, your doctor will determine the correct contact lens power (base on your glasses prescription) then assess the health of your eyes with the lenses on to ensure a properly fitted lens… yes, like Cinderella slippers!

Medical Office Visit

Red eye? Painful eye? Sudden changes to your vision? We are here for you. This will be a problem focus exam where your doctor will determine the cause of your eye problem and guide you through the management. Please call us to schedule a medical office visit (we do take same day walk-ins), or seek care at the nearest hospital ASAP.

Second Opinion

Cannot see well with your new glasses or contact lenses from a different provider? Eye problems that were not addressed? We are happy to help. Please bring in your previous prescription/old glasses/medication and health records…Your doctor will review them, examine you, and give you their honest opinion and plans.

Optomap® retinal exam is a non-invasive 200 degrees ultra-widefield photo that allows our doctors to diagnose potential vision threatening diseases. This includes cancer, retinal tear, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other retinal problems often associated with common systemic diseases including high blood pressure and diabetes. It is essential in catching early abnormalities that can lead to vision loss and can detect disease in the eye that may not be visualized in a standard eye exam. All patients with diabetes, family history of eye disease, vision changes, high prescriptions, symptoms of flashes or floaters, are strongly recommended to have this done yearly.

  • I rarely write reviews but thought this one was very worthy of noting. I was very impressed with the time Dr Li spent with me. I have glaucoma in my right eye and she noticed that it looked irritated and asked if she could check my eye pressures. She noted that my right eye was at 30, which is very high. She asked me to call my glaucoma doctor to see if I could get in to have it checked by them. After a couple of phone calls back and forth, I asked Dr Li if she could fax the information to my glaucoma doctor and have set up an appointment to see them in a few days. Dr Li followed up with another phone call as she was more concerned about me than I was. This type of "caring" is rare anymore and I found this to be very exceptional in this day and age.
